What is a haiku?
As Leo of Haiku Heights aptly explains, a haiku is a three line poem. It shows what the author wants us to understand from it, rather than tell it directly. The limitation to a haiku is seventeen syllables. It can be at maximum, that much. If you wish to go by the traditional Japanese structure even with English haiku, you can use a 5-7-5 syllable, or 3-5-3 syllable structure

I have been called courageous... and it actually means a lot when a friend told me that. I didn't know that I have been all this time. Oh well..

They said that we only have two seasons here in the Philippines the wet and dry. In contrary with this one, I believe we still have four seasons. Like now it is not yet summer and I think it is spring. One evidence, some trees are changing their leaves.
I love spring! Weather is not too hot, not too cold and the flowers are in full bloom! I think it's the most wonderful season of all.
